Research & credentials

Built by an engineer.
Grounded in peer-reviewed research.

SEMS Technologies LLC was founded to close a specific gap in U.S. industrial energy infrastructure — the absence of AI-native optimization built for the operational realities of refineries, processing plants, and manufacturing facilities. Here's who's behind it, and the research it's built on.

The founder

Engineering expertise across oil & gas, energy systems, and industrial AI

SEMS Technologies was built on a rare combination of domain expertise and technical depth. Most industrial AI platforms are built by software engineers who don't understand refinery operations. Most energy engineers don't understand machine learning. SEMS bridges both.

The founder holds a B.S. in Oil & Gas Engineering and an M.S.-equivalent in Energy Systems Engineering, with research and fieldwork spanning petroleum operations, industrial energy management, and applied machine learning for energy optimization — credentials evaluated and verified by a NACES-member U.S. credential evaluation organization.

  • M.S. Energy Systems Engineering — U.S. equivalent, TEC Credential Evaluation No. 002561355
  • B.S. Oil & Gas Engineering — Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas
  • SPE paper SPE-227886-MS presented at ATCE, Houston, Texas — competitively selected
  • U.S. Provisional Patent No. 63/949,198 — SEMS platform core architecture
  • Independent expert endorsements from Dr. Iraj Ershaghi (NAE member, USC) and Dr. Chicheng Xu (SPE Journal)
  • SEMS Technologies LLC registered in Tennessee, 2026
